Successfully commissioned Bell Annealing Furnaces for Aarti Rolling, Nigeria
We are pleased to have successfully commissioned Bell Annealing Furnaces, along with associated equipment, for Aarti Rolling, Nigeria, for bright annealing of steel strip coils in hydrogen atmosphere.
The installation comprises of 4 nos. Annealing Bases, 4 nos. Inner Covers, 2 nos. Heating Hoods, 2 nos. Cooling Hoods, Valve Stands, MCC and PLC System The equipment is designed for production capacity of 80,000 MT/annum.
Charge stack is of 2,000 mm diameter and 5,400 mm height. Maximum charge stack weight is 100 MT.
Fuel is natural gas, and the combustion system is on pulse-firing basis. The furnace has been designed for 900 °C maximum temperature.
The Application Software, control philosophy and engineering details for the Project have been developed jointly with Autodata, our Channel Partners.

Charge stack is of 2,000 mm diameter and 4,300 mm height. Maximum charge stack weight is 75 MT.
The furnace is electrically-heated, and is controlled through thyristors. The furnace has been designed for 900 °C maximum temperature.

The Soaking Pit is used for reheating of Ingots, and it is suitable for firing with 50% Furnace Oil and 50% MBF Gas.

Each line capacity is 500 kg/hr, and it is suitable for firing with Natural Gas.

We are pleased to have successfully commissioned Bell Annealing Furnaces, along with associated equipment, for Ameri-Source Group of Industries, USA, for bright annealing of steel strip coils in hydrogen atmosphere.
The installation comprises of 2 nos. Annealing Bases, 2 nos. Inner Covers, 1 no. Heating Hood, 1 no. Cooling Hood, Valve Stands, MCC and PLC System The equipment is designed for production capacity of 18,500 MT/annum.
Charge stack is of 1,925 mm diameter and 4,000 mm height. Maximum charge stack weight is 74 MT, including convectors.
Fuel is natural gas, and the combustion system is on pulse-firing basis. The furnace is designed for 850 °C maximum temperature. Temperature control within 2 °C has been achieved.
All other properties in the Annealed Charge have been achieved, as required.

The Furnace is of 50 MT/hr capacity, and is suitable for firing with Heavy Furnace Oil.
Charge is typically 130 – 160 mm sq. billets, of 6,000 – 12,000 mm length.
Charge material is low, medium and high carbon steels / low alloy steels / ball bearing steels / free-cutting steels / cold heading steels.
The Walking Hearth Furnace has Level-1 Automation.
This project has been done under our Technical Collaboration Agreement with CMI, and we look forward to many more such orders to be done together with CMI in the near future.
